Mario Serafin

After completing matric in 1975, I was called up to the S.A infantry to do two-years in the army. I joined the South African Air Force and completed a three-year trade as a mechanic in two and a half years and also did my first year of Mechanical Engineering.

I left the defence force and started in the Textile industry as a foreman, then completed a 3-year diploma at the Natal Technikon and qualified as a Technologist. Thereafter, I managed production in various departments i.e. Preparation, Dyeing and Finishing. I left the industry because of pressure from imported goods.

I decided to become an Estate agent and joined Durr estates/ Cape Region home sales. After a two-week training period I sold my first two properties in my first two months of becoming an estate agent.

I joined Nation Link and worked on mostly plot and plans and new developments in the Burgundy Estate area. I joined RealNet Platinum and again got involved in a new sectional title development in Maitland but also re-sold properties in Milnerton and Table View areas.

I totally enjoy working as an agent and enjoy getting involved in new projects, helping and meeting people from all walks of life.
